Poetic Inspiration

Today I attended a reading/performance piece by the amazing poet Ann Carson. Her piece paints an vivid analogy as her life and development as a writer to that of the experience of the sky. I laughed, I cried, I felt. It was a cathartic experience, one that I would like to be able to share with anyone else out there that feels alone. She creates an experience for the audience that makes every words she speaks relatable with intrinsically profound statements. I highly recommend all those artists, literary enthusiasts, cultured cohorts and average joe’s looking for an experience to check out her reading
